Our menus rely heavily on local, seasonal ingredients and recipes with the a la carte and set menus changing daily. Please refer to the menu listed as an example of our food.

The Old Fire Engine House - The Menu

Everything is prepared and cooked in our kitchen, including piccalilli, relishes and jams. Local ingredients such as Denham Estate venison and Norfolk samphire feature on our menu as well as a variety of game which is served daily.

Our cheese is supplied by Nealís Yard Dairy in London, which has built up a first class reputation for the selection and care of fine cheese from Ireland and the British Isles and is served with fen celery, when in season.

We also serve coffee and teas every day with homemade cakes and scones. Our seasonal tea menu features homemade gentlemanís relish and Cambridgeshire honey in the Winter and cucumber sandwiches in the Summer. Leaf teas include assam, lapsang suchong and lemon verbena from specialist tea supplier, Michael Matthews, in Cambridge.
